My wife's computer bit the dust a few days ago and she bought a new one
which has arrived today. nice looking thing- Acer 27-inch all-in-one.
Absolutely impossible for her to sign into Windows 11; she has obviously
at some time in the past created a MicroSoft account but has never used
it on her previous Windows 10 machine and has no recollection of any
kind of password, she never ever used one to access her computer.
But Win11 will not let her sign in without a password, and will only send a
PW renewal request to her email address, which she can't access because
she can't access her email (computer dead) or they won't send it to her
'phone - so it's proved impossible for her to set the machine up.
I've set it up for her using my email identity but that's obviously not what
she wants.
If I hadn't been handy to set the machine up for her then she wojuld have
been absolutely stymied.
So good folk out there a way of setting up Windows without creating a MS
account ?? And is it going to be easy changhing her computer to her ID
from mine??
