Scraping torrents not possible.

Question

It's been happenng a long while - it's impossible to use the torrent scraping feature

at

This is the hidden content, please

Clicking on the link takes you to the page - where you then have to wait.

And wait.

And then wait a little longer.

And then you get a 404 page.

I resorted to going to individual torrents and clicking the individual "update seeders

and leechers stats" - but that takes upwards of two minutes a time - WHEN IT WORKS

AND YOU DON'T GET ANOTHER 404 - and life is too short for that.

So going to my torrent list shows me that many of my torrents have no seeders and

no leechers and have never ever been downloaded at all.

Is there any chance at all of getting the torrent scrape facility working please - or

failing that then please remove it so that we don't waste our time with it, please??

It's nothing like that, sometimes it says 404 error, considering server load or other issues but once in a while, if I say so, I have faced this error around 5/6 month ago.

Other than that, I regularly update trackers manually, (it's recommended) by opening 4, 5 torrents in a new tab, Trust me, if I click all of them as fast as I can, they will generate the updated stats within 30 second less. Not above, it's pretty fast as the request sent to system to generate and with 5 tabs, browser load and 5 torrents, it's pretty fast. If I do one by one, then it may take less than 20 seconds, so why would I wait that longer? If I can request 4, 5 once. (Scrapping torrents button not a waste, I remember, I ran my first 300 while ago, and they were to generate updated result within a few minutes)

As I have uploaded more than 2.3k files, I''m sure it's not that easy to scrape them to kill my browser and patient. Lol

I'm using Firefox browser. Kindly, check if your network or browser having any issues, such as unwanted extension/add-ons installed or anything.

Lastly, techs can only tell if there is a problem or not, or they are working on anything, because bugs are a part of sites, might be an issue there, but I believe once they see it, they will fix it.

Good luck!
