[HEADING=2]The Allman Brothers Band[/HEADING]

AllmanBrothersBand.thumb.jpg.cb6b12595691e0d3048dd6ffb92b2290.jpg

The Allman Brothers Band formed in 1969 in Macon, Georgia, United States and blended different strains

of Southern Rock related music— Blues, Country, Gospel, Jazz, and more— into a flexible, jam-oriented

Rock and Roll style.

Reflecting the emergence of the "New South" and setting the style for Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Marshall

Tucker Band, and many other bands, the Allman Brothers Band also oddly— or eerily, some would say—

had an unusual string of untimely deaths, a pattern similar to other Southern rockers. Through personal

tragedy and turmoil, the group endured for decades.

Canada and founded in Quebec in 1984 by two former street performers, Guy Laliberté and Daniel

for the 450th anniversary celebration of the discovery of Canada by French explorer Jacques Cartier

(b 1491-d 1557). Gauthier, who left the company in 2001, now owns the ski area Le Massif, on the St.

Lawrence River in Quebec.

Cirque du Soleil is now "guided" by Guy Laliberté.

[HEADING=2]Dead Kennedys[/HEADING]

DeadKennedys.thumb.jpg.bb2af805315a975f7d95a7eb0c29d227.jpg

Dead Kennedys are a punk rock band that formed in San Francisco, California, USA in 1978. During its initial

eight-year run with original vocalist Jello Biafra, the band attracted controversy for their provocative content

and were among the first to define the style of 1980s hardcore punk.

Dead Kennedys' lyrics were usually political in nature, satirizing the Reagan Administration and the American

establishment in general, as well as popular culture and even the punk movement itself.

Several stores refused to stock their recordings, sparking debate about censorship in rock music.

The band's name refers to magnetic fields and the biblical Nephilim race.

Their sound was innovative in the gothic scene, incorporating heavy metal elements to make a hard, bass and

[HEADING=2]Lonestar[/HEADING]

Lonestar.thumb.jpg.d67b024f74a561d506460a422914466a.jpg

There are at least 3 artists called Lonestar:

1) Lonestar is an American country music group consisting of Richie McDonald (lead vocals), Michael Britt

(lead guitar, background vocals), Keech Rainwater (drums), Dean Sams (keyboards, melodica, background

vocals), and Michael Hill (Bass Guitar).

McDonald left the band in November 2007 for a solo career before returning in 2011. During that time,

Cody Collins, who had formerly been in another country group called McAlyster, replaced McDonald as the

band's lead vocalist. John Rich was also the group's bass guitarist and second lead vocalist until 1998, when

he was fired from the group.
