Administrator Report Posted July 6, 2023 [HEADING=2]Gotthard[/HEADING] Gotthard, a hard-rock band from Lugano in the Italian part of Switzerland and Bern in the German part, was founded in 1990 by mentor and co songwriter Chris von Rohr, best known as Krokus' bass player. Gotthard is definitely one of the most famous and successful Swiss artists ever and almost every album has topped the Swiss charts since 1990. With 2 million albums sold (1 million of which were sold in Switzerland, which only has 7 million habitants), they managed to get multi-platinum awards in different parts of the world. Influences include Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Whitesnake, Deep Purple and Aerosmith. 3

Active from 1999 to 2016, the band's line-up remained unchanged: John Bramwell (guitar/vocals), Peter Jobson (bass) and Andy Hargreaves (drums). Their début single, 'To You', on Ugly Man Records was produced by and featured backing vocals by Guy Garvey, lead singer of Еlbow. Début album Natural History was released in March 2001 on Wall of Sound offshoot We Love You. It was followed by the self-titled I Am Kloot in September 2003 on the Echo label. 3

Administrator Report Posted July 7, 2023 [HEADING=2]Lady Antebellum[/HEADING] Lady Antebellum was the name of the American country trio that changed its name to Lady A on 11 June 2020, amid the George Floyd protests. The trio originally formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2006 by Charles Kelley (lead and background vocals), Dave Haywood (background vocals, guitar, piano, mandolin) and Hillary Scott (lead and background vocals). Scott is the daughter of country music singer Linda Davis, and Charles Kelley is the brother of pop artist Josh Kelley. It was these family connections and music industry ties that helped launch the band. Kelley moved to Nashville in mid-2005 from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he had been working construction with his brother John. 2

While none of its original members remain in the group, the lineup of vocalist Mark "Barney" Greenway, bassist Shane Embury, guitarist Mitch Harris and drummer Danny Herrera has remained consistent throughout the band's career since the early 1990s. Their debut album Scum, released in 1987 by Earache Records, has proven very influential in the global metal community. 3

Administrator Report Posted July 9, 2023 [HEADING=2]Scouting for Girls[/HEADING] Scouting for Girls are a London-based UK indie pop band formed in 2005 by Roy Stride, Greg Churchouse and Peter Ellard. The debut album from Scouting for Girls is self-titled and has sold over 900,000 copies. It reached number 1 in the UK on 20 January 2008, where it remained for two weeks. Seven singles were released from the album including She's So Lovely which was used at the start of the 2008 movie - Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. The name Scouting for Girls is a play on the words of the Scouting for Boys handbook first published in 1908 for the Scouts, which provides boys instructions on good citizenship. 3
