Earth lies in a strategic goldmine for the oncoming war, everyone wants it, and they don't care if it's inhabited... The war has reached the point where even the greatest warriors in the universe are getting scared, if we're going to survive this we're gonna need some help! But the rest of the universe has it's problems too! worlds are being conquered daily, whole civilizations and enslaved or destroyed, will we be next, will this be the end of everything? Even the worlds created to protect the universe are in peril, is there any wonder we've got visitors. And that darkness is about to step into the light and show it's true colors, and the forces of evil will have to step up their game if they really want to win, because here on Earth we are used to conflict and war - it often brings out the best in us.... ... .. . and the worst! So will the forces of evil triumph or can we at least buy our selves some time? Only time will tell, but there are forces that have watched since the beginning, and waited for the end, because the true battle is about to begin. The rules of Mortal Kombat state that 10 tournaments over 500yrs will determine the fate of the realm at war, and every generation will compete. Outworld must win all ten tournaments to conquer a realm as decreed by the Elder Gods, they have already won 9, if they win this one we are absorbed into their dark dimension If Outworld loses they must wait 500 yrs for this battle to be reborn.
