Thank you for that. I actually came here to cancel my request and saw your contribution - I realised that I'd somehow installed WinAmp twice on this machine - and rather than using the 'Users' install, I was using the 'Program Files' install.

WinAmp. Help please. I'm absolutely stymied. For years and years I've used WinAmp to quickly check zipped karaoke files on my computer. Yep I could use VirtualDJ but excellent as it is for hosting a karaoke show, it's carp for simple everyday jobs at home. I remember that I used a plug-in called, I think, in_zip to play the content of a zip archive, and another called CDG_Plug-In_, to play the graphics on both MP3+G files and from CD+G discs. I've found the CDG Plugin, but can't remember for the life of me exactly how to install it; when I open WinAmp it's in the plugins, but it doesn't play a CDG file along with the associated MP3. My WinAmp install is version 5.666, and it's installed in C:\Users\Me\AppData\Roaming\Winamp. If you have advise then please offer it, if there are instructions then explain to me as though I was a 10yr old.

Fixed, now points to the correct torrent.

I've been told that some of these rips are corrupted, so I shall re-rip and re-post.

If you had explained this then I would have put up the rest for you rather than giving you the catalog numbers, I'm sorry that it may have come across a little snippy. BUT!!! At least your predicament has started a great discussion about how we might start a stockpile of karaoke - the answer is of course in torrents provided that people keep seeding.

All back online A-OK now - turns outthat the VM hub has a pinhole reset switch on the back, talked to 8 different non-English speaking Tech Support morons before one had the bright idea of suggesting this - after we had talked for 20 minutes. Two minutes later all was fine. My uTorrent has now gone even pottier than normal with uploads and all of my torrents from yesterday now have a ratio better than two I'm very happy to say :giggle::giggle:

Hey, listen and look at this one - over 50 years old and still rocking like a newly-weds bed springs.

My apologies if you're getting slow downloads from me right now My VM fibre line should be giving me in excess of 1GB/sec down and 25MB/sec up. Rebooted the hub, the computer, the router and the switch - but still getting less than 50MB/sec down and less than 1MB/sec up. Normally my uTorrent runs along uploading at about 4MB/sec, right now it's telling me 2.07kb/sec up for 10 active uploads Middle of the night here so back to bed and call the engineer in about 10 hours time if things are still bad. Hopefully normal service soon.

Thanx for pointing that out Scottie. Must have presssed M three times instead of four when selecting category. I'll edit the torrents now.
