From what I understand, there are two new versions of "War of the Worlds".

 

There is the French / Fox version called "War of the Worlds" which is eight episodes, and then there is a BBC 2019 "The War of the Worlds" which supposedly has three episodes, two "full" episodes, and I believe a "follow up / what happened after" one.

 

Wonderful huh?! It certainly caught me out when I saw a third episode!

 

P.S I haven't watched either of them, so I'm probably completely wrong

When "The War of the Worlds" was aired on BBC1 in the U.K.....it was shown over 3 nights, with each episode being 1 hr long....hence the 3 episodes listed...

When it was uploaded it was edited to 2 episodes, each lasting 1hr 30 mins...hence the 2 "longer" episodes you have on torrent sites.

Same tv series...same time length.

Hope this clears it up for those still looking for episode 3

English/French version far superior to the right on/snowflake/me too/blm

version that the BBC massacred, notable for Daisy Edgar-Jones keeping most

of her clothes on before she graduated to better things/less clothes in Normal People.

 

Parts of the UK/France version filmed in Bristol as well, yippee !!

 

Second season in production, goodness alone knows when it'll arrive, with

lockdown etc., but if you haven't seen it DL and binge watch it
