So, shortly after Christmas, I decided to "digitise" my sunfly collection. With the help of you all I have acquired 13,000 out of 18,000 sunfly tracks, but I haven't been able to nail down the last few thousand missing tracks. Question for you all? Is it any use to any of you, and should I carry on?

 

Secondly, it has already highlighted one area which I am missing. Does anyone have the SUNFLY Country and Western Series please?

 

This is the link to the first 1,000 sunfly digi IDs. I have actually done over 3,000 tracks so far just to get the first 1,000!!! But the 2nd thousand isn't far off. I do anywhere between 200 and 500 tracks per day.

 

Things to note:

DOESN'T EXIST means it is no longer in Sunflys database. I also have a folder with tracks that are no longer in the database to be shared later.

Tracks I do not have are replaced with a text file of the missing track. I have 99 tracks missing in this folder.

I don't use The at the start of Artist or Title.

I use "&" in the Artist, "And" in the title (Easier searching).

Movies, musicals, disney etc are appended to the Artist followed by the artist.

All artists and tracks are as found on Wiki (Sunfly are nortorious for getting them wrong).

hI @billy1 ....if its too much to ask, could you transfer almost half of SFWS on MEGA (say 12GB)? and the remaining half (10GB). I keep on disconnecting on OneDrive and couldnt resume the download. had to restart the download every time.

hi @Sharkie, thats what im doing in the meantime...but still slow...and disconnects as well from time to time

 

UPDATE: It seems it stabilizes when I download 5 at a time. still slow, but stable

I'm uploading the SFWS to Mega right now. Will post link in a few hours when finished. Uploaded SFWS in portions as on Onedrive. Hope that is ok with you.

These cloud systems still need to be babysat. They could divert some of their staff off their AI programming and make the cloud services a bit more robust : ) although Mega looks more user friendly than Onedrive.
