totally stripped the vocals , got a reasonably clean result.

cut vocals manually, reduced volume of vocals to blend more as backing.

got a half decent result that should pass quite well.

tell me your thoughts????

Not bad at all, although the harmonies on the second phrases of the verses are not really represented. I was going to have another try with DeMIX Pro today, but for some reason my iLok dongle isn't being recognised yet it worked fine yesterday....

Hazz, found another version of the song in .wav format, did a bit of tinkering. It sounds like it might be an alternate cut or a re-recording, and a better Stereo sep.

Just got in and listened to it.

Not bad at all Hazz like you said certainly usable.

Not out again doing karaoke for a couple of weeks so can't test it out on the punters.

My DCK700 zipfiles are corrupt, I'm hoping that it's not the first sign of an

HD dying so I'm busy transferring all of my k-files onto another drive.

 

Would some kind person please put up DCK700 for me.
