About 4 or 5 years ago I went through all my karaoke using 1st Windows explorer, looking for missing tracks, full discs etc (hence my folders are marked FD). Then I loaded up KJFM, sorted by Artist, Title, and made sure all the artists and titles were correct as found on Wiki and Discogs. Then I sorted again in KJFM by Title, Artist and did it all again. I spend a couple of hours a day, which took me about 3 months to complete, but it was worth it. Now every January while its quiet, I repeat the KJ process, and I can see at a glance what is wrong, and it takes me just a couple of days in total. Well worth it.

 

Pet hates I have a gizillion of. People that think they know the artist and song title better than the artist themselves, and Cyndi Lauper Girl's Just Want To Have Fun, being 2, but I just get on with it.

The only Sunfly disc with CC in the disc id in my collection is SSCC Sunfly Special Celtic Craic, and they are Irish songs... According to the Sunfly site, SFCC1 (Sunfly Club Cuts) is only a 15 track disc.

The only Sunfly disc with CC in the disc id in my collection is SSCC Sunfly Special Celtic Craic, and they are Irish songs... According to the Sunfly site, SFCC1 (Sunfly Club Cuts) is only a 15 track disc.

Mine's listed in a SFcelt directory - open that up and they're all

labelled SFIR, so go figure

The label's no help at all, with no catalog number.

When the Celtic Craic was first released (I collected the first batch from Sunfly when they were in Apsley Way) they were referred to only as SSCC, and formed part of the Sunfly Specials range - which at that time also included the ABBA 1+2 discs, Boyzone, Christmas (XS), Commitments, Corrs & B'Witched, Meat Loaf, Northern Soul, Scottish, Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Westlife, World Cup etc.

 

It was only later that the SSCC and SSIR discs were lumped together as the Sunfly Irish range, which were re-named:

I really appreciated DaedalusWren, Sharkie, sacot1 and the rest of you for major uploads, fills and adding insights and info.

 

Started out with a approx 13,000 SC files and ended up with 33,604, so way more than doubled!

 

To me, SC tracks are one of the gold mines of karaoke. No idea where they got the musicians but the tracks are so well performed.

 

Thanks again, everyone, for your generosity!!

Working my way through the SC that was shared here and have found a disc that had many files with messed up graphic files near the end of the songs, and mislabeled/numbered SC2409. Here is a replacement disc, relabeled, with all good graphics. There may be a spot or two on one or two songs, but they are 99-100% clear graphics. Cheers
