Can I ask you kj’s what you have on your show hard drives or do you have a huge drive and take everything you have

I use a Crucial X8 2TB SSD for all my karaoke files and around 4,500+ 720p mp4 music videos, you can buy the newer Crucial X9 2TB on Amazon for €125

i use a western digital 2td portal hdd more than enough for my needs, have over 125000 karaoke tracks and shed loads of mp4 videos from Youtube downloads etc

My PHM folder is a real mess running to 98GB and most likely full of dupes

PHMAC are Adult Contemporary and run to 17 discs from November 2002 to

February 2007.

 

There a few other PopHits series :

PHGH - Greatest Hits

PHMCC - Country Coral

PHMHR - Hot Rox

PHMPP - Pop Power

 

There was also the Top Hits Monthly company which had a collection more

extensive than Pop Hits Monthly - my THM folder is just as unorganised as the

PHM folder and runs to 125GB

 

 

PH - ProHits, PH - Passion House and PHT - Pop Hits Today are all completely

different companies.

Main drive is a Samsung T7 Shield 4TB which I just upgraded to and I also bring a Seagate Portable 4TB as a backup mirror of the T7. Got the T7 on sale! Otherwise a little expensive. Its very fast.

All my music, videos and karaoke files are on the drive. I have a backup laptop and it just seems easier to keep the VirtualDJ databases updated across the drives.

Have a WD My Book mirror backup at home.

Mine is very similar then, i have everything backed up at home just in case.

Then just the one laptop which i have vdj and karma both installed.

I do prefer karma for karaoke and then just the one 4tb drive partitioned to karaoke - music - videos

I only do pubs and small socials so i find this is enough

Hi Vanburn, Still no joy with the ID? I throw all the tracks from each disc manufacturer into one folder, Name the Disc IDs A-Z after the artists eg PH-A, delete all the duplicate tracks, and leave the disc collection at home. I still have all the tracks with no duplicates, half the size needed, and if the drive gets nicked its no lose. Hard setting up, but once done, its a doddle. Been doing it this way for over 20 years, since I had an hard drive nicked!

Sacot, I have your Country collection PHMCs, listed as my Nashville collection. I may be wrong, but I don't think PH did a Country collection? They did PHC - Classics I think. That would resolve some of your missing discs. Like I said, I may be wrong, I usually am!!!

Hi can anyone help ? Flip & Fill : Discoland, I have looked on all the main sites Sunfly, Zoom, etc with no luck, does anyone have this or could it be created ? I have been asked for this on Karaoke a few times lately.

Hello. Going to give another try for a large collection of Spanish/Latin Karaoke to include fairly new releases. I have a lot of old stuff but looking for releases in the last 1-5 years. I am doing a Karaoke party for work and my Spanish karaoke I have is over 10 years old. Thanks all.

I think you are really going to have to try and find a source in Spain or perhaps try KV and search their latin output...

 

I can't say that I have seen any regular commercial Spanish output for ages, not since the changes with Sound Choice.

 

If there are still Spanish language producers making regular output, I have not come across them. Karaoke Version list 233 Spanish karaoke tracks for music released since 2020, and 513 tracks for music released between 2010 and 2019. No idea what can be considered popular as I neither speak the language or live in Spain, but that sounds like a good source for you to check out.
