Georgia Brown company.

 

SGB issued most of their SGB series tracks in SCDG format , 1208 of them  ~ hence

the catalog number.

Hey!

I have nearly finished my overhaul of the Chartbuster series.

It is looking really good.

I have fixed many, many hundreds of errors, ranging from simple stuff like spelling mistakes, or ARTIST-TITLE being the wrong way round, to bigger stuff like tracks being labelled completely wrong.

The only head-scratcher I have is CBE-09 which is a 30 disc set.

My 30 disc set does not match KSLC AT ALL! not one track!

Does anyone have any definitive listing of what CBE-09 should be?

 

For example, the CBE09-01 that I have starts at:

Track 01 - 3 Door Down - It's Not My Time (I Won't Go)

to

Track 15 - Alicia Keys - Like You'll Never See Me Again

 

However, KSLC has:

Track 01 - Tex Ritter & His Texans - There's A New Moon Over My Shoulder

to

Track 15 - Dolly Parton - Just Someone I Used To Know

 

Any help on this would be appreciated.

**EDIT** Having looked at EBAY, it appears KSLC is correct.

Using KSLC to look up the 3 Doors Down song (note the S on the end of door) and the

Alicia Keys song, I can see that they are on CBE09-27-01 and CBE09-29-07.

 

I would imagine that somebody had the tracks from the discs and bunged them

into disc random disc folders; are all of the tracks present?

Hi BJ,

Your instinct was correct.

All the tracks were just thrown in at random.

A bit of a pain but I have sorted them out now.

 

A final "ask" for the Chartbuster series...

 

Does anyone have the following at over 128K... eg 160, 192, 256 or 320Kbps please?

 

(The real reason I want them is that these are the only 2 tracks in the entire Chartbuster catalog that are not sampled at 44.100kHz)

CB40301-12 - Babyface - And Our Feelings
