All of my torrents were deleted yesterday by Prom3th3uS (including the old ones from over a year ago) because "Reason: No zipping allowed for Music type or any kind of content here!". I have also been stripped of uploader status. This makes ZERO sense, as many people on this site post zipped MP3+CDG files, and this is usually the most typical method of storing karaoke files.

 

I would repost them unzipped, but since I've been stripped of uploader status, I guess I just won't post any more torrents because I can't. Try to do nice things for people and I get my hand slapped. I've learned my lesson.

Does anyone know what's happened to "k-world" (Karaoke World torrent and FTP site)? It's stayed up for years by being a private "invitation only" forum, but is now redirecting to a 500 error page. Because all the admins in there keep their identities a closely guarded secret, I can't find anyway outside the site to find out what's going on. Just thought someone in here might know something?

Jock and Geordie ran the site and ran it very well for a long time.

 

They made the elementary mistake of registering their site as a co.uk site, so when the

copyright people decided to act it was really easy to find out who and where they were.

Actually, they relaunched under a different URL (k*world.*), and have been running right up until a couple of weeks ago as a private, paid-for site, by invitation only. (I hope you'll excuse me for not quoting the whole URL in here. In case they are just re-.organising and re-opening, obviously they won't want the URL advertising in a public forum.) I just thought there might be members or admins in here who knew more about the current outage. Thanks for your replies, though.

I'm only up to 273 and will try to get these uploaded for you when i get the space and time.

tons of music and karaoke flooding in so very busy. If 274 upwards exist i too would love a share from anyone who has them as i'm sure we all would.

Hi guys. I know this is a karaoke forum but when I am dj ing I sometimes use tracks from a series called Mastermix. Does anyone know where I might be able to find older ones than what's easily available now?? TIA
