KSLC doesn't it have listed in SFCC001 just in the SFMW disc. SunFly have made a real hodge-podge of their catalog numbers: SFC01 - Corrs SFCC01 - Casino Classics SFCC1 - Club Cuts SFC - Country DVD and there's SFNS (not listed in KSLC) - Northern Soul - which has track 11 as the Dean Parish track as number 11.

Mine's listed in a SFcelt directory - open that up and they're all labelled SFIR, so go figure The label's no help at all, with no catalog number.

Jeeez, I thought that I'd made those step-by-step instructions really easy to follow. Ony reason that the explantion's so long is because I took the trouble to explain what was happening and why it was happening- takes me 10 seconds or less when I'm doing it.

This is the way (hmm cyclamen, not tried this colour before) that I do it: open a DOS box by right-clicking on the Start button and clkicking on Commend Prompt. Navigate to your karaoke drive and then the Zoom folder - in my case that would be by typing Y: (that's the letter y followed by a colon) and then pressing [Return] to get to my Y: drive where my karaoke lives. My Zoom PCP discs live in y:\zoom\pcp - so that's what I type in next - the screen prompt now looks like this Y:\zoom\pcp that's drive Y: directory zoom sub-directory pcp I get a list of the directory content by typing dir which gives me a list of the directories in zoom/pcp; it'll give you a lot of detail buy pytting in the /b swicth (b for bare) like this dir/b gives you just the directory names; to get a list of the content of all of the those directories use the /s switch (s for sub) like this dir/s/b and if you get even braver and specy the type of file that you want included in your fiectory search you can specy it easily by typing that in like this dir/b/s *.zip which selects just the zip files. You'll now have an on-screen list of all of the zip files in all of zoom/pcp it's sub-directories but there'll be so many that the list will shot off the top of the screen - don't worry that can be sorted using the /p (page) switch. But that's not we're looking at, we want a list of the files don't we ?? So we can send that list of zip files by redirecting the output of that dir command to a file rather than your computer's screen, if we want to send it to a text called (say) PCPfiles you we do this by typing dir/b/s > PCPfiles.txt (you could send it to another directory if you want by putting a different directory path in front of the filename). You'll now have a text file named PCPfile,txt in you PCP directory, do with that what you want - edit it, copy it into a word file or a spreddsheet - whatever takes your fancy

Not used it myself but have seen shows stumbling along with it. It's based on WinAmp from what I've seen. Sax n Dotty did put out one very useful utility (which has been surpassed by newer progs like MP3Tag) which renamed the 'content' (the MP3 and the CDF) of a zipfile to the name of the zipfile.

Good day everybody, chief moron here. Tinkering with my karaoke drives just after I woke up, I managed to delete my complete SC 2400's - on three different drives !!! - and rather wait the 48hours or so for my undelete program to do it's thing, does anyone still have those up on Mega ??

Easier yet; extract the archive content using MP3+Gtoolz - which will rename the content with the name of the zipfile. But on the options page DON'T select the Auto-Rename Zip files option at any time - it's how many zipfile names became fouled up, Personally I have Recurse folders and Delete old files after processing permananetly selected; if youmake any changes on that page close the pogram before use top make the changes happen.

Back in 2016 or 2016 I put up a brand new disc set, I think it may have been a Mr Entertainer; the very next day Rigmar put up a new torrent titled 'New monthly karaoke' - or words to that effect. When I downloaded it I saw that it was the same set of zipfiles that I had just uploaded, all files the same size as nine but renamed to remove the album/track from the front of the filename and the comapny name added at the end. Opening up the zips ahowed that it was indeed my torrent; I checked in with Miss Kitty (sadly now no longer listed as a GLO staff member) who started this chat forum and his torrent was taken down. He no longer torrents here and I haven't seen anything from him on other sites for nearly a year; he did put up some good music videos. I see that he now puts into his info: "Feel free to call this your own and reseed it on any other site."

Looking for the KV version of Diana Krall - "Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting)" Two copies here, both with corrupted mp3 files within the zipfile. Anybody got, can assist - if you can, please check zip before posting

Rigmar, please don't get me started on that waste of karaoke space. He has some strange ideas, including his belief that he's the world's best source of karaoke. He once told me that it wwasn't possible to seed more then 50 torrents; I'm currently seeding more than 400 !!

That's just the half of it You have to contend with the different naming schemes, where the slightest change means that the names are dissimilar. Putting [`] instead of [' ] (common with older files sourced from Mac users I've found) or missing apostrophes out completely; putting that apostrophe at the end of a verb (or even a gerund if we're going to be exact ) with a missing 'g' at the end. Those that insist on renaming any song title that begins with 'the' so that that word is placed at the end of the title after a comma - same with song titles starting with the letter A. C'mon people, what about The River being renamed River, The Rose >> Rose, The Climb >> Climb ; Elvis 'A House is Not a Home' Reversing first name and last name, damn don't get me on that - why can't the people that do it do it consistently ?? I mean Ryan, Barry and Paul ?? Mann, Manfred ?? Bocelli, and Sarah Brightman Andrea ?? -- this next one is a champion that I saw - Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick And Tich, Dave And can't people understand that when they take 'The' of the front of a band's name there is no need to add [. The] onto the end ?? And none of them appear to understand that The Weeknd is the name of an artiste and not a band. Dammit, rant over :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
