Hey!!! Anybody got some suggestions please? I've been using a renaming program called 1-4 Renamer since God was a boy, all the way from XPpro up to 8.1 Now in Win10 it doesn't want to play nice, it does all of the little things that I like the program so much for, but now I can't drag a few adjacent folders into and have it work on all of the content at once - I have to work on each folder separately, which is a pain if you have a few thousand files in different folders. So. What are your recommendations for a renamimg program ?? cheers BJ

Right, found them tucked away. SSK001 to SSK028, missing some tracks: SSK004-09 SSK027-01, 02, 03 and 04 SSK028-10 I'll sort thru them and check all the zips and then torrent them in the next couple of days

Watermark?? Had to be done Initially it was a small and discreet message tucked on each of my scans and covers. It was Sacot that alerted me to the fact that there was a subscription website selling my rips amongst others. They were removing all of my ID3 tags from the music, and scrubbing over my small identifiers on the covers, so I made them a little larger and they still continued to try to tell people that they were their rips. If they had left in my IDs I wouldn't have minded, but it's the dishonesty that pissed me off. One of the mods at KaT suggested watermarking but I couldn't find a free program nor a torrented program that wasn't full of unwanted spyware etc. SDo I sat and experimented with ThumbsPlus 10 (I know one of the admins at the company) and worked oiut how to add the equivalent to a watermark. Silver Saddle ?? Pretty certain that I'll have it somewhere, otherwise Scottie most likely has it squirrelled away somewhere

All happening at once for me here. Lost our VirginMedia connection last night, so no broadband, no TV and no telephone - and to cap it all the special home 'phone that they gave us with a built-in SIM (to make emergency calls when the landline's down, cos I'm even older than Scottie ) didn't work either. At least the Tivo's working so we could watch recorded progs, and we have heaps of downloaded films and TV progs - but miss the US things like Will Trent and La Brea but they'll come in now for tonight. Had a big half-term kids disco this arvo so couldn't do a thing until I got home a couple of hours ago. Set up a tethered connection to my mobile and then had the dreadful experience of Virgin's customer support being bounced from foreign-accented pillar to foreign-accented post until finally I got unlimited data on my mobile for the next 7 days - which is handy costhe engineer won't be here until late Saturday. Anways, ONCE AGAIN back in the land of the living
