The karaoke files that you're asking about are posted to a usenet newsgroup whose members are fed up with people doing nothing except leech from that newsgroup without contributing anything at all.

Contributors to that newsgroup get the PWs and the leeches whine.

Ah, I see.

Many of us find It difficult to contribute to a group that contains everything we already have.

However, in my defence, I have in the past contributed some home made tracks to that group.

I believe at the time they were previously unavailable elsewhere.

They were also leeched without thanks I seem to recall - although I may well be mistaken.

Please note I am not 'whining'

There were only a handful - TrickTrax Karaoke.

Maybe you have them?

Poor health prevented me from continuing.

Ah, I see.
Many of us find It difficult to contribute to a group that contains everything we already have.

You could always do what others do and help out other requesters.

However, in my defence, I have in the past contributed some home made tracks to that group.

Four times in 2018:

A test post of a single EZH track on Feb 5th, and then

HMTTX-01 - SLASH'S SNAKEPIT - AIN'T LIFE GRAND

on Feb 6th to which Dodie replied February 6th and I agreed on Feb 8th:

TTX-02 - Drifters - Can I Take You Home Little Girl on March 12th

Was already available from Zoom as a download and later as part

of their Zoom Heroes disc series.

HMTTX03 - Del Amitri - Be My Downfall on March 13th and was later

put out by the KRG.

I believe at the time they were previously unavailable elsewhere.

group under the TrickTrax name at the end of Jan 2019.

I can see that you gave up on the group, but continued to download

using NZB files - which basically involves leeching what is given for

free without bothering to thank.

The decision to make files password protected was taken together

by the 2 current major contributors to the group, and since many

people have my email address it was posted once again to the NG

and I forward PWs for a yes or no.

The PW has changed once.

despite his vision and diabetic problems, nor me (at the age of 76) with

recurring cancer and spinal problems in addition to Carpal Tunnel in

back in May, luckily mid-week so it didn't affect my gigs - which continue

depite my poor health - did my first Christmas Party last night for 120

people lugging in and packing away a complete 6K PA and lights on my

own; no karaoke though

Just letting you know how and why it works, the simple fact that you

joined in by thanking and posting songs would have given you the PWs

if you had remained and become a regular. But rather than do that you

used NZB files to take what you wanted with no acknowledgement.

Rejoining the group and posting whatever you think may need to be posted

and generally joining the discussion could well get you a PW or three

You're rather good at it.

That's not all that I'm good at, which is why I still have a constant flow of gigs

both disco and karaoke.

Pedro Infante - Si no me quieres ni modo
Def Leppard - Women
Luis Miguel - Sabor a mi
Indila - Derniere Danse
Crowded House - Into Temptation
Crowded House - Better Be Home Soon
and again any Big Wreck karaoke songs

If you tell us where you are purchasing them it would save me hunting thru' 600,000 songs ie; KV SBI BKD etc
