The only version of The Stranglers "Walk On By" I know of is made by Harris Studios ( VH xxx ) numerically labeled VH133-12. I don't have this disc, as I am missing several of them. I currently only have 17 of this series, so if anybody has the set, I would appreciate that.

 

 

Thanks for this, I believe Walk On By is on Aaron Aardvark which I believe is related to SBI

I have given the Harris VH karaoke that were kindly shared by ADNA, mikep1 & Sacot1 a good tidy up, and corrected a few errors and added it to the MEGA share...

Just a note to say that I have treated this a little different to other manufacturers...

Because there are so many full vocal tracks, with an accompanying vocal reduction track, I have left all of the full vocal tracks in place.

 

The reason is that often the quality of the vocal reduction is quite poor because it was done with older technology.

It results in that awful warbling-underwater quality to the track.

Anyone who uses a modern setup such as Virtual DJ stems 2.0 would be able to turn vocals off from the (FULL VOCAL) tracks and make a better VR track on the fly.

I have labelled them very clearly:

 

Bob Smith - Lovely Song (FULL VOCAL)

Bob Smith - Lovely Song (VOCAL REDUCTION)

 

So, if you want to get rid of the full vocal tracks, just go to the folder in Windows and search for (FULL VOCAL) and then you can bulk-delete them.

 

** Some of the albums that mikep1 shared have already had the full vocal tracks removed **
