Hey,

I am going through these missing Music Maestro discs.

I notice quite a lot are Elvis Presley discs.

6123, 6124, 6146, 6147, 6177, 6190, 6205, 6248, 6249, 6266, 6288

6322, 6337, 6338, 6356, 6357, 6371

I guess DaveyDee did not include these in his collection as they are duplicates of the songs in the "Velvet Elvis" collection.

So, my questions...

Is the Velvet Elvis collection a set (of 32 discs in the case of the MMVE3 set) that are just taken from existing Music Maestro 6xxx discs?

Or were some made especially for the Velvet Elvis collection?

Is there a list of the catalogue numbers that the Velvet Elvis collection contains?

The reason I need this is that the titles on these Elvis 6xxx discs do not state which version or performance the tracks are.

There are quite a few variations of some of the songs and I want to get this right.

Any help or info is appreciated.

Thanks.

Lee.

**EDIT - I am grabbing images of the 6xxx discs from eBay so this may help **

Does anybody here know of a program that I can get for free that will adjust

the Keystone aspects of pictures  ???

I do have a cracked version of CaptureOne - but it has an incredibly steep

learning curve and far more features than I shall ever need (I'll give you a

F'rinstance:  to save a picture you have to complete a whole new project

and then save from the ~~ I solved that by doing a screen grab which does

the job but not as nicely as I'd like it to.

Hi Derrick here's some of the missing ones

This is the hidden content, please

If you check the cover that you posted and the ID3s of the MP3 files, you'll

find that it's my rip from April last year.

I wasn't sure scotty, there was a flurry of post and I couldn't keep up with who had a what! So I threw them on anyway. If you recall BJ was going to try to find his original disc for one of them, and re-rip it, but I can't remember which....

You will have to remind me which discs I was going to find.

I have "EZP135 "Chart Hits 9" here ready to go but the covers that I got are pictures

taken on a slant and I'll have to KeyStone adjust them before setting them free into

the world for all the K-collectors.

Hiya Lee, they are re-encoded, Mainly to level out the volume using LUFS. I hate having to keep adjusting the volume levels of whatever I am playing. That way I only need to find the volume level for the singer. A lot of my older stuff was at 64kbps from the old days, which got upped, along with 128kbps. 320s I mix down, that is for file saving space. A 320 is double the size of a 192, and not worth it when a singer will kill it!!!

I have taken them down this morning as I couldn't fit everything on mega. I am uploading the EZPs only at the moment, and will post a new link when finished.

Wilkinp4,  You do realise that every time that you transcode an MP3 you debase the sound

quality a little more.

If your 64kb/s karaoke tracks were mono, then they were the equivalent of 128kb/s stereo.

Sacot1 and I rip all of diss at 320kb/s so that everyone has the best quality available ~~ and

you downcoding from 320kb/s to 192kb/s defeats the entire object of the hard work that we

put into doing it.

If you want to normalise then transcode to WAV do your normalising and then save at whatever

you want to.

In these days of cheap Multi-TB drives youu should have no need to save space.

I appreciate that DnD.  Has anyone heard of the disc series ( DT xx ) , or know anything about it?  I have not, and cannot find any information at all.

After a little digging, I found 2 references

One says DT Karaoke is on Spotify, the other said something about being from Ameritz in 2014.

Hope that helps. I had never heard of it either.

Of the 4 search databases I use, it is only found on iCroons (which I think has some either missing or incorrect information here) There are 6 discs in the set, with the first one having 99 tracks.

There are some very interesting tracks on here as well, most not found elsewhere, making me think it may be a homemade collection that found a listing on the archive section of iCroons.
