  1. KB01-98 For those of you that still have problems, I've deleted the ZIP file from my GDrive, extracted the files and am currently uploading them to my GDrive ~~ GDrive tells me that the upload will not be finished for another 5 hours, so don't expect immediate results I have done nothing to these files at all, they are as they were uploaded to Meta and downloaded by me. KB01-98 on GDrive ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ Above link now corrected
  2. I've put them on my GoogleDrive. They'll be there for a day. [Hidden Content]
  3. Did you read the README.TXT file that came with the download ?? It says : Install & enjoy, no activation required. (already activated) Pirate's NOTE: Remember, always Exclude the app via A/V program to avoid False positive infections, No harm by these infections, read more at torrent page description. The torrent was uploaded by PROM3THEUS, one of the admins and Moderators of GLO and of this site and I trust his uploads. Windows Defender will have deleted the downloaded file; so re-download it and BEFORE YOU TRY TO RUN THE FILE exclude it from Windows Defender or whichever A/V program you use ~~ and then run the file.
  4. Torrented just a few days ago by Staff Member and Moderator Prom3th3us Here's the page: [Hidden Content] And here's the torrent: WinRAR v7.10 Beta 3 (x64) Pre-Activated [FTUApps]
  5. It's not so much the sharing that has expired, it's the wealth of info and discussion that the earlier pages contain that make this useful. I know that as and when I join a forum on any site, I try to go through the earlier pages to see what's there and what has been discussed to check that any question that I might have may have been answered already.
  6. Must admit that I was quite surprised when I woke and got here that the previous highest page (398) had changed to 664.
  7. Just to check, I downloaded these from Mega and then tested the whole lot with WinRAR and no errors were found. Is the problem with the download or the content of the download ?? ie. Or are they playing but with bad GFX or Audio ??
  8. My GoTo programs for downloading from YouTube [Allavsoft] and [AnyVideo] are no longer working. Anybody got working suggestions ??

  10. BIN first then WAV plus CDG
  11. Yep. Rip to BIN and then split to sound and graphics. The good ole days of having to have the right disc reader - Yamaha or Plextor depending on which way the wind was blowing that day ?? SunFly with their fancy 2-session efforts to stop us copying that meant that they had to reprint and replace discs that proper k-players couldb't play; and then later on Easy with their black discs. GoldenHawk's crap software that somehow worked,(if you had the correct CD reader) most of the time. Yep. The good ole days
  12. In that case, you need to sign in. If you leave GLO and then go back, unless you have clicked the "Remember Me" box on the sign-in page, the page will see you as a visitng non-member until you sign in again.
  13. Did you try actually JOINING the site rather than being a visitor ???
  14. Found this very interesting video on YouTube about comparing vocal reductions for Karaoke. [Hidden Content]
  15. As do we all That's the same wih me. Well that will have been a function of storage and/or transport, nowadays I meticulously check all ZIP and RAR files that I get especially those from MEGA ~~ which I have found especially unreliable on large downloads. Invariably when I DL from MEGA I find errors on individual files wthin the Zips, which I then have to go back to MEGA and download individually to replace those that were found to be bad ~ and twice I've found the replacements need to be replaced when I have checked them . Checking is the name of the game every time. When receiving ZIP files from other people I find that the best way of checking them is to immediately extract the content from them uisng MP3+GToolz - which will stop every time it finds an error and I then have to click [OK] for the prog to carry on. I have MP3+GToolz set to delete the Zip after extraction, so that once it's has finished I have a directory full of MP£s and CDGs - together with all of the ZIPs which had errors. Often I'll find that those errors were caused by extra files in the Zip and that the music and GFX are OK, many times I've found extra Zips INSIDE the zip I'm looking at a few things: A; You could store more on MEGA by using compressed files. B; It would take you less time to upload files toMEGA. C; It would take downloaders less time to get the files. Sorry Lee, But you're wrong there the MP3 files can compress by a small amount, here are DIR text printouts of the first three songs in a multi-gigabyte directory that I'm currently working on:: CDG first: Y:\_KV\KV no ##\tmp>dir *.cdg Volume in drive Y is Y: 8TB Kworkdisc Volume Serial Number is 8AB6-B973 Directory of Y:\_KV\KV no ##\tmp 21/04/2014 02:18 1,221,600 KV - Andrews Sisters - I'll Be With You In Apple Blossom Time.cdg 21/04/2014 02:19 1,624,800 KV - Calvin Harris - You Used To Hold Me.cdg 05/08/2013 00:59 1,222,560 KV - Ronettes - Be My Baby.cdg 3 File(s) 4,068,960 bytes MP3 next: Y:\_KV\KV no ##\tmp>dir *.mp3 Volume in drive Y is Y: 8TB Kworkdisc Volume Serial Number is 8AB6-B973 Directory of Y:\_KV\KV no ##\tmp 28/06/2021 21:16 2,717,107 KV - Andrews Sisters - I'll Be With You In Apple Blossom Time.mp3 28/06/2021 21:16 3,611,457 KV - Calvin Harris - You Used To Hold Me.mp3 05/08/2013 00:59 2,717,987 KV - Ronettes - Be My Baby.mp3 3 File(s) 9,046,551 bytes Now separately Zipped cdgs & mp3s: Y:\_KV\KV no ##\tmp>dir *.zip Volume in drive Y is Y: 8TB Kworkdisc Volume Serial Number is 8AB6-B973 Directory of Y:\_KV\KV no ##\tmp 25/01/2025 21:27 360,624 KV cdg test.zip 25/01/2025 21:26 8,886,053 KV mp3 test.zip 2 File(s) 9,246,677 bytes As you can see, the MP3 files total 9,046,551 bytes, and together they compress to 9,246,677 bytes, OK not a great deal but still something when added to the much greater reduction for the CDG files. As you can see it's well worth the compression just for the reduction that you get with the CDG files from 9.046MB to 360KB. I'm not trying to tell you how to share with the rest of us, just mentioning that you could be sharing rather more than you are now with the 2TB limit, which you have mentioned now and then in the past.
  16. Wilkinp4, You do realise that every time that you transcode an MP3 you debase the sound quality a little more. If your 64kb/s karaoke tracks were mono, then they were the equivalent of 128kb/s stereo. Sacot1 and I rip all of diss at 320kb/s so that everyone has the best quality available ~~ and you downcoding from 320kb/s to 192kb/s defeats the entire object of the hard work that we put into doing it. If you want to normalise then transcode to WAV do your normalising and then save at whatever you want to. In these days of cheap Multi-TB drives youu should have no need to save space.
  17. You will have to remind me which discs I was going to find. I have "EZP135 "Chart Hits 9" here ready to go but the covers that I got are pictures taken on a slant and I'll have to KeyStone adjust them before setting them free into the world for all the K-collectors.
  18. If you check the cover that you posted and the ID3s of the MP3 files, you'll find that it's my rip from April last year.
  19. Does anybody here know of a program that I can get for free that will adjust the Keystone aspects of pictures ??? I do have a cracked version of CaptureOne - but it has an incredibly steep learning curve and far more features than I shall ever need (I'll give you a F'rinstance: to save a picture you have to complete a whole new project and then save from the ~~ I solved that by doing a screen grab which does the job but not as nicely as I'd like it to.
  20. Lee, I took a look at your MM share with us and it surprised me that it was all in MP3/CDG format rather than Zipped. I downloaded you MM64## folder and it came to 2.37 GB (2,554,575,556 bytes) I unzipped it and then re-zipped and the size fell to 1.74 GB (1,878,470,228 bytes) which is roughly a quarter smaller. It would give you more space on Mega if they were zipped files. Just advising you, no killer ;;)
  21. Thanx to those of you that reported the spam that got through. Spam Deleted. Spammer banned.
  22. After a certain number of posts to this new version of the forum, this security method will stop and you'll be able to see the links without them being hidden.
  23. And of course, you can't like without being a member of this forum ~~ which keeps away the 'visitors' who only come to grab for free what we are sharing with each other.
  24. Just a little more info on liking; if after you have reacted you decide that you don't want to reward the poster, then hiver your cursor Just a little more info on liking ~~ if after reacting by placing a like, you decide that you didn't after all like it, or the trouble that the poster took to make it, then you can withdraw it by hovering your cursor over the like icon and clickthe 'X' that appears, you can withdraw your reaction ~~ which will also lower your rep points as well
  25. When I click on your link above it doesn't go through, instead I get the messasge "The file you are trying to download is no longer available"
