  1. I don't use Mega to share, so know nothing of how to restrict what you're sharing, I do a fair amount of private sharing and I do that 15GB at a time on GDrive. The one thing that could be done is to make a Text File of the address and password and then put it on (say) GoogleDrive which I know can be password restricted to only those that you want to share with; other password-enabled sites may be/are available
  2. Lee, Just a thought that it may not be possible to do. Can you password protect your Mega share ??
  3. As an addendum to what I werote above, I can see at thetop of this page that right now, as I type, there are just two members browsing this forum - AND TWENTY-THREE GUESTS !!! If you're one of those guests how about joining us in this forum and joining the discussion ???
  4. Like most forums on the web you can read this forum without joining, but it's for non-members it's read-only so they can't post anything. That's probably how many of you found this forum, by using a search engine, those search sites trawl the web finding any and everything that they can so that they can serve up results.
  5. When Zoom issued their Vocal Stars series they were originally All Stars, I think they issued two as ZAS and then switched to ZVS. I'll make them available if you don't have them.
  6. Miss Kitti hasn't been around for a while - taking a long sabatical right now; I miss her sense of humour PM or email me if you think that you know who it is. It's one of those things, as soon as something is posted somewhere that it can be found, then others will try to take credit for it. Tyat was one of the reasons that I started putting intrusively large bookmarks on my scans - MutzNutz reposted everything that I ripped and posted and put them into their issues; I couldn't really care less except that they ripped out all of my ID3 tags before they did it.
  7. I know which site they're being uploaded to, Uploader calls themselves Bakes87 - 35yr old Male from the UK.
  8. Here you go, from Music Maestro @ 128kb/sec MM6337-01 - Elvis Presley - Pocketful of Rainbows [from GI Blues]
  9. Sorry bout that mate, I put them in the root rather than the directory. Now Fixed
  10. Two versions here, one's an MP3+G from JAG's HM karaoke. Second version is the Pioneer LaserDisc - 2 copies, first is the AVI that I originally got from UseNet way back in the 90s, second one I've enhanced the graphics to the best of me abilities and savewd as an MP4. Barbara Dixon - Answer Me
  11. They're good VFM, I've bought a couple of those packs in the past.
  12. To help fill out Lee's amazing Mega Share, here are some of Zoom's Pop Box series that I didn't see in the listing. They'll be uploading for the next couple of hours so don't expect to see that upload completed until about 2am UK time. Zoom missings on GoogleDrive This is what I'm sharing: Zoom Pop Box 3 Zoom Pop Box 2013 Zoom Pop Box 2014 Zoom Pop Box 2015 Zoom Pop Box 80s Zoom Pop Box Musicals
  13. Lee, It would most likely be a great help to the others here (especially new visitors) if you left a link to your MEGA share as part of your (at the moment non-existent) signature. You can add/change your signature by going to the top of any forum page and clicking on your username - you'll se a heap of options; 7th down on the left is signature, or clicking on this link: SIGNATURE.
  14. Can't remember that, but the memory is one of the first things to go Back in the day, in the usenet sounds.mp3 groups in the mid to late 90s - 128kb/s was considered absolute luxury!! There was no Broadband (at least not in the UK) With the speakers that we used then it was next to impossible to hear whether a CD had been ripped at a higher rate that 128kb/sec, and for mono tracks ie. most 50s and 60s music it was general to rip at 64kb/sec mono. It was only at the beginning of this century that 192kb/sec started appearing regularly. When I rip nowadays I rip at 320kb/sec - but that's only to keep downloaders happy; on my computer's "Creative" I can't hear a difference. A helluva lotta karaoke discs until recently were mono as well Must agree, I do prefer Zoom and it's my go to, but he is careless with his lyrics missing "Any way the wind goes" from the end of Bohemian rhapsody was carelessness of the highest order - and they have a large number of other lyric errors, like most companies they get Roger Miller's "King of the Road" line "Short but too big or round" (ie they've been stepped on) substituting 'around' rather than 'or round' Yep agree about that, general old age for me, but my diabetes is causing me probs right now - have a second eye welfare check next week because the normal one couldn't see behind my cataracts which are not getting better. So, your other two eyes are OK then ?? <GBFG> AGREED !!!!
  15. All you have to do is to search on the main site here. [Hidden Content]
  16. You're wrong there. That would be a function of the player that you're using and not what Scottie kindly shared with us. VLC is not a program that I would recommend for playing karaoke, in fact there isn't a video player that I would recommend. Playing with the version that I have here v3.0.18 Vetinari - I find that it while it will play MP3s with their corresponding CDGs, it will play only the MP3 if an MP3/CDG zip is dragged into the program. SFAIK any of the current DJ players which are advertised as playing video will do the job for you - I use VirtualDJ. You can download and use the program for free from their site; I bought mine so that as and when and if I need support I can get it easily. Here on my home computer I use WinAmp with two add-ons. One of them gives WinAmp the ability to play CDGs which match the name the an MP3 that's playing. The other add-on plays the content of a ZIPfile, which means that dragging a zip into WinAmp starts it playing the content straight away. Once it's playing it's easy to use the left/right arrows to jump through a song looking for bad GFX.
  17. Here y'go, all trax including vocal guide tracks plus label. Top Hits Monthly THC103 March 2001
  18. No probs; for me a good vid is preferred by the punters rather than blocky CD+G graphics - especially when large screen TV are available at the show site and VirtualDJ handles them with no problems at all. Maybe someone can use the very good audio from this and put CDG to them for you.
  19. Only version that I have, HM from Cloggy's Karaoke - made with reduced vocal from a live album. Pretty certain that nowadays a much better karaoke version could be made. PWKBW02-15 - Kevin Bloody Wilson - Absolute Cunt Of A Day (Live)
  20. We'll most likely have to wait for Hayseed Dixie to do a version, and then hope that some kind person karaoke-ifies it
  21. Can't help you with the Don Henley or John Waites songs. There is a version of When Doves Cry by Ginuwine on SBI. it's not treggae but very close.
  22. I can't find a karaoke version anywhere, but there is a 'Sing it Yourself' version on YouTube - where the lyrics appear on screen but with no guide as to when to actually sing them, so it's a necessity to know the song in advance really. Since your singer obviously knows the song then it might do the trick. This version is faster than I remember it from my schooldays, but slowing music and/or videos nowadays isn't a problem at all. [HEADING=2] [/HEADING]
  23. It's KSK-03124 - Goldie - Making Up Again w~bgv
  24. Best that I can do for you is a Home-Made with reduced vocal by Idaho Mobile IDMKJMW-60 - Train - Mississippi ~rv
